Walker Posey is a fourth generation Funeral Director with Posey Funeral Directors, North Augusta, SC. With a family history dating back 150 years in funeral service, Walker has had the opportunity to learn all aspects of funeral service and currently is very active in day-to-day operations with his family's firm.

For the last several years, Walker has focused on using media and technology to better connect with client families and to greatly improve their experience during times of loss. Under Walker's direction the Posey Firm was among the first in the country to integrate Life Tribute Memorial DVDs, Funeral Webcasting, Memorial Web Sites for Client Families as well as an interactive, educational Funeral Home Site for the families they serve. Not only have these tools helped to truly make funeral services more personal, unique and meaningful, but they have also helped those left behind better connect with a community of support, complete with grief tools, that assist them through their grief journey.

Walker is very active in various industry and community associations, boards and philanthropic endeavors including The National Funeral Directors Association, The South Carolina and Georgia Funeral Directors Associations, The Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice, Rotary International and The YMCA.
